The committee has been founded in 2005 and registered in the
United Nations
Objectives
- Promote and protect human rights by monitoring the Lebanese and the United Nations governmental policies and the passage of legislations in all countries, in order to ensure that world and Lebanon comply with their obligations under the Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
- We will defend the human rights of the Lebanese people against oppression or maltreatment.
- To support, respect
and promote the principles of the charter of the United Nations and declare
that its mission statement is consistent with those principles.
